How quickly can I get a cabin delivered? Most hire cabins can be delivered within 2-7 days of approval, depending on your location and cabin availability. We've delivered cabins in as little as 24 hours when needed.

What's the minimum hire period? Our minimum hire period is 6 months on open room and 12 months on self contained cabins. This gives you flexibility without the commitment of buying, and it's perfect for temporary accommodation, renovations.

Can I rent-to-own? No sorry but we can offer finance. Many of our customers start with hire and transition to purchase.

What are the upfront costs for hiring? You'll need to pay one week hire in advance, a refundable bond on our self contained cabins (typically $500), and delivery costs. Don’t worry, we'll give you a full breakdown before you commit.

Is there a bond, and when do I get it back? Yes on our self contained cabins, we require a bond of $500. It's fully refundable at the end of your hire period, provided the cabin is returned in good condition.

Do I need council consent to hire a cabin? In most cases, no consent is required for temporary hire cabins under 30m².

What site preparation do I need before delivery? You'll need a flatish, stable surface (concrete pad, gravel, or compacted earth). The area should be accessible for our delivery truck and allow for leveling. We'll help you assess your site before delivery.

Can you help with site prep? We can recommend local contractors for site preparation, or we can arrange it for an additional cost. Talk to us about your specific needs.

What about power and water connections? For non-self-contained units, power is the only requirement. We provide connection cord and adapter on all cabins. For self-contained units, you'll access to water and a garden or appropriate hose.

What happens if something breaks during my hire? Normal wear and tear is expected, and we handle repairs. If something is damaged due to misuse, repair costs may apply. We're always quick to respond to maintenance issues.

Can I move the cabin during the hire period? Yes, but relocation costs apply. Contact us first and we'll arrange the move for you — never attempt to move it yourself.

Can I extend my hire period? Absolutely! There is no maximum hire period and most customers find they want to keep their cabin longer than expected.

What if I want to buy the cabin I'm hiring? Great! We can arrange a purchase at any time.

How much notice do I need to give when ending my hire? We require 4 weeks' notice before the end of your hire period. This helps us schedule pickup and prepare the cabin for its next customer.

What condition does the cabin need to be in when I return it? We expect the cabin to be clean and in the same condition as when delivered, allowing for normal wear and tear. Any significant damage beyond normal use may affect your bond refund or incurr extra fees

What happens if I can't vacate by the agreed date? Talk to us as soon as possible. We can usually arrange a short extension, though additional charges may apply if another customer is waiting for that cabin.

Can I use a hire cabin for emergency accommodation? Yes, we prioritize emergency situations like house fires, floods, or family crises. Contact us immediately and we'll work to get you sorted fast.
